That's a pretty nice looking stamp. Though I wonder if there is a need for a love stamp AND a wedding stamp.

...and again, there will be two uncut press sheets, one perforated one and one imperforated one - at $55.20 each (6 panes of 20). 2013 will be an expensive year for sure for those who want a complete collection.

I like this design a lot - a simple, modern eye-catching design and far more personal than last year's Love issue IMHO.

A lot of people put stamps in their rsvp envelopes for wedding invitations. This might be the reason for the stamp

There are separate wedding stamps issued in two denominations that match. When I got married in 1997, all we had were love stamps, so that's what we bought. Now we have wedding stamps AND love stamps. You could use the love stamps for valentine's day, but if you're sending more than one Valentine's Day card, you'd better have a divorce lawyer on retainer.

The USPS seems to be circulating some conflicting information as to the actual issue date of this stamp.

According to Beyond the Perf, the stamp will be issued on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Loveland, CO:

http://beyondtheperf.com/stamp-rele.../sealed-love

However, just a short time ago, USPS Facebook has announced that the stamp will be available nationwide on Friday, February 1, 2013:

As of this morning (01/17/2013) USPS Facebook now agrees with Beyond the Perf, confirming the date of issue for this stamp will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013:

Does anyone know what the correct date of issue is to be? It would now seem that Wednesday, January 30, 2013 is the correct date of issue for the stamp.

You know, the USPS needs to have one voice. They should post all official announcements on beyondtheperf.com. Anything posted on Facebook should only LINK TO beyondtheperf.com.

I totally agree. I've long been an advocate that there should be one reliable place to go to in order to get updated stamp issue information without having to constantly view various websites to try and establish who is posting the correct data.

I have long contended that no business or corporate entity would put up with carrying misinformation on their websites. They are usually much better off to not announce anything (or just list a tentative date such as "January" or "February" without an exact date mentioned until it's confirmed.)

I have no knowledge of the internal organization of the USPS but my suspicion is that there are different people that handle USPS Facebook, Beyond the Perf and the USPS Store websites (and they don't seem to talk to each other.)

Case in point was the recent posting of the pdf file for the 2013 (Quarter 1) edition of USA Philatelic, when the next day they took it down again.
