Just bought a pane of the Forever Flag stamps, noticed that the reverse side of 12 stamps are misperforated. The lower horizontal perforation is cut into the flag design of the bottom stamps. I have attached a photo close-up of two stamps (actually parts of four)
Anyone else run across this or provide more info? Thank you,
Gary

A perforation error to be sure.

What is the plate number shown on your booklet?

Plate number unknown....the front of the booklet is empty, the stamps have been used. They were not misperfed.

The misperf only occurred on the reverse side with 12 stamps. The misperf cuts through the bottom row of stamps.

Thanks for your reply.

The reason I asked about plate number is that the Scott Numbers referenced in the title to this thread reflect those from the ATM Booklet of 18 (4706-09). Since you have indicated your example has 12 stamps on the reverse side of the booklet, yours must be from the Booklets of 20, so it would either be the Ashton-Potter (4641-44) or Sennett (4645-48) varieties.

I can't tell for sure from your scan, but if it's the Ashton-Potter variety (4641-44) the flag will measure 18.5 mm from the lower left to lower right corners; if the Sennett variety (4645-48) the flag will measure 19.0 mm from the lower left to lower right corners.
