Heart of the West: San Francisco as a PostaI Hub From 1849 to 1869.

I came across this while hunting out some references on early US postal history. Stunning early covers. I want one of everything. Link below should take you to the pdf. Give it time to download, it took about 30 seconds on my mac.

Terry,

There is an abundance of great exhibits and articles available from Richard Frajola's website. Very fun stuff to look through!

All of those are ridiculously beautiful and tremendous research was done. The exhibits are fine but in the future I would like to see them displayed at my house at least once a year for about two weeks. Can we work that out?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for those links.Same guy, terrific resources. I'll be downloading the pdfs where available. All I need now is the huckleberries to buy the stuff.
