Nice to meet you all! I have enjoyed reading some of the posts on this forum in recent weeks, and though it was about time that I joined. I look forward to learning lots from everybody here - I am rediscovering and growing my stamp collection that I started when I was 10 years old... lots of fun!

I'm from England originally, but now living in Indiana and enjoying learning about US stamps!

Welcome aboard Jimmy,

Glad to have you with us.
I spent a few years in England (Suffolk and Norfolk) when I was in the military and loved it there.
So now when I see someone join the group that is from Great Britain, I get a little thrill!
Please tell us more about what you collect. I hope you like trading - I do. Have had to lay off the stamp stuff including trading for several months since we recently moved from North Dakota to Mississippi and still do not have all our stuff unpacked.
Once again - Welcome...

Dave N.

Thanks for your messages!

Dave, glad that you enjoyed your time in England. I am still figuring out what I collect! I collected Great Britain and a variety of world stamps between the ages of 8-12, and although I stayed interested in stamps I never took the time to get develop my collection. In the last few years I've been sorting through my old collection, and some leftovers from my grandparents collections. I am still collecting Great British stamps, but also starting to collect US. I just bought some old US album pages, and am enjoying going through them and learning more. Aside from that, I have a hard time staying focused on specific countries... they are all so interesting that I want to collect them all! I have a lot of world stamps, particularly Europe, and am continuing to collect those.
