If your interested the other grills will not bring you that much in used condition. For example the high side for them would be around, #83 - $495, #85 - $495, #85c - $2,000, #88 - $16.00, #94 - $5.00. The non grill #64 - $575, #65 - $2.00.
Of course condition is everything in getting the high price. |

This was the auction!
This photo of an 1868 three-cent denomination "B Grill" variety U. S. postage, was provided by Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries, Inc., Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 in New York. The stamp, one of only four known to be in existence, sold at auction for $1,035,000 during a three day sale of Iowa banker Perry B. Hansen's stamp collection |

Hi Dan.....
Even if you posted the best pictures ever, it would be impossible for anyone to identify any grill looking at a computer image. You need to very carefully measure the length & width of the grills.....in millimeters.

Ok I am going to try this, if it works you should be able to see the grill from the middle of the center to the top of the circle. Image: grills.jpg55.42 KB |

It looks like it has worked at least I can see the grill but then again I know what to look for. For some reason I never made any measurements. So if I know my grills this is a 136 with either a H or I grill.H= 10 X 12 I= 8.5 x 10 |

Hi Dan....
I have an offer in one of my discussions of a free grilled stamp from Peru to any new collector in the club. I still have some left.....would you like one for comparision ? All I need is your address. |
