This is the best APO cancel I've seen in years. It came on a card from a non-stamp collector who would not have gone out of his way to get a special hand cancel.

I don't collect modern, but I love this one. So many years of seeing junk it is about time to see a classic clean cancel.

Curious how off center the date is though.

Looks like the band with the year was changed out as those digits are a lot narrower than those shown in the month and day.

Yes... I think that many hand-canceler dates only went up to 2011.So they would either need to replace the year part or get a new cancelation device.
