Not sure what all you other posts are about but it is not a Z grill. Second, the Stamp itself is badly damaged with missing perfs, a bad thin and a straight edge. Your odds of a Z grill are 1 in Millions. |

The stamp is not a Z grill. because it has vertical ridges. All Z grills MUST have horizontal ridges and is not dependent on the number of grill points. The Z grill is the only grill type that has horizontal ridges as well as the only grill that measures 11 x 14 mm. A close look at your stamp clearly shows vertical ridges on two of the points and therefore it is not a Z grill. In the upper right corner is a darkened triangular shape apparently caused by the cancel on the face side. In what appears to be the third row of points down from the top of the grill and fourth and fifth points from the right edge of the grill are the two points that the ridges can be seen. Ridges are a very short straight line between two "V"s pointing towards each other, and connected to, the straight line. The following illustration is a screen shot that I took several years ago from a website on grill ridges. Sorry, but I have lost the the actual address or I would place the link here. |

Good assumption MrEos. I believe you have solved the mystery of the "barbecue" word. |

Same- Are you using translator to help post? You have some nice items to investigate but I believe things are getting lost with the way the posts are being read. 1. try not to double click the submit post button so as not to double enter. 2. You have many different post going at the same time so its hard to bounce back and forth especially if same stamps are concerned. In regards to the stamp above - It is quite hard to make out number of points clearly . As mentioned the likely hood of having a Z grill is very rare , the stamp is in very bad shape but if it was a Z grill would still be a great find. If you can clearly see top bottom laft and right sides a measurement in millimeters may be a better way to tell. Also to see more clearly - if you take a pencil and rub it on a seperate pc of paper and build up some graphite, you can then use your finger to wipe up the graphite and lightly rub across the grill. This sometimes brings out the details much better. From what I can make out and this is just a guess is an E grill. |

My dear friends .. I actually use automatic translator in a computer, because my English is weak. Seems I attach all my hopes on the existence of a rare postage stamp I have. I suffer from throat cancer 9 months ago, and I need to treat, but here in China must be paid first and then give you the treatment, and I have no hope but to look for a rare postage stamp perhaps it will be the savior of my life. I wish you good health and wellness. |

same, we thought you were using a translator program and we sometimes we also use them when we need to communicate with a non-English speaker. Translation programs usually translate OK but frequently make mistakes in grammer and also with words. I am so sorry to hear that you have cancer and hope that you will be able to earn the money you need for the operation. I would like to recommend that you post the front and the back of any stamp that you wish to have identified.
