I have seen some posts in the past regarding line pairs.
I saw this is a recent circuit approval book for 10p and thought it may be interesting.

I don't have a specialised catalogue so is it the 1929 coil?

If it's a type 2 then yes. Can't tell without a larger scan. Yes it is a line pair between the 1st and 2nd stamp.

At 10p, don't think about it. Don't ponder. Don't agonize. Just buy it. And remember all the elves here are ready and waiting to advise you on any- and everything, worldwide.

Cheers guys.
I think it is a type I and have updated the img so that clicking on it now takes you to the Flickr page where a full size scan can be seen. I'll have to rescan it though at 1200dpi as it isn't that great a scan. This would make it 1923 e.g #599?

Thanks Rod for the link for the earlier series. That is how I originally found out what a line pair is and without this forum would have remained blissfully ignorant. Great to see SCF is near the top of google results too.

Anyone else find it interesting how the centering changes with the plate change?
