I completely forgot about this one. I had stuck it in a pocket in my leather portfolio that I take to shows, and it fell out earlier today. It would have sucked to lose this one.

I have a thing for the 1st issue double transfers. Finding them still on documents is pretty tough, so when I saw this one,it fell into the "must have" category.

A double transfer on any stamp is a nice stamp.

BTW, that RB8, is everything you said it was, and more.
I'm happy to have it and am contemplating what to do with it 1st,

Glad you like it Art. It would make a great experimentation/learning piece for restoration and repair. Very little downside.

More likely, it would probably make a good "parts" source for restoring a better-quality example that has issues in the bottom half of the stamp.
