Are the 557c really worth $11,000? The top 2 are perforated 10 on the top and bottom. The single one beneath them is perforated 10 on the top only.

I tried to lay them on the perforation gauge, but they won't oblige. Perhaps I can have a friend take a picture of them with her cell phone later.

Since they're used try hinging them on the perf gauge. That's what I have to do if I need a scan of a stamp on a perforation gauge. Just an idea.

A little piece snipped out of a Post-It makes a good temporary hinge.

Here are bad photos my friend took. Technologically speaking, we're bumbling old ladies. However, she's an artist and she said they look to her like a match.

Went out to dinner and am partying, so I'll try sticking them to the gauge tomorrow.

Thanks, Doug2222 for the great idea. Here are the scans -- there are 4 now.

C'mon guys, what can these be? I seriously doubt that I found four 557c's. How can I find out what they are?

Never mind. I discovered that they're 586's. Oh well, the Salvation Army bell ringers won't be getting them after all.
