Hello all. I'm a Newby Stamper with a lot of old stamps that I hope I can get some advise on different questions that I have on stamps from you smart stampers. I've been reading post and so forth for a while now and thought I would jump in and get my feet wet. I want to sell the collection I have which includes #10's yes #10's not #11 although I have some of those as well right up to some stamps with tagging. I have mint and used blocks, mint sheets of airmail, Special delivery, revenues stamps, tobacco stamps...etc back of book. Some maybe worth a lot and some maybe worth pennies, but hey that's why I'm here. Then I can send off to get certified once I know more than I know now.
Scotts# 1033 2cent Jefferson silknote was it ever used in the coil printing of the 2cent Jefferson. I have some awful white looking paper that the stamp is on but it is coil stamp. I think silknote paper is a bright white.
Anyway I think i'm going to like it here

Welcome Newby,

Hope you like it here. If you look around a little on this group and elsewhere on the internet, you might find that lots of others have been in your situation and have had the same questions. Here's one place you might want to start:
