Here is an image of some cut squares I have. I have just recently realized there are some serious collectors on here.

This picture contains some cut squares, some of which I have identified some I can't. Feel free to confirm my id's or question them.

First row has what I think they are.

Second row
U439 - W433 - U436 - U429d

next row.
U314 - U356 - U312 - U363 - U385

NEXT ROW
U456B - W534d - U437f - U439 - U544b

next row
U536b - U412 - U534d - W525

last row. I can't identify.

Thanks.

My quick take...

None of the first row are the Dark Blue variety. Hard to tell the paper from the scan - could be manila, orange, cream in the 1st and 3rd guys. 2nd hints of orange.

2nd row, 2nd CS is U429; 3rd looks like U436e; 4th looks like U429.

3rd row, 2nd CS looks like the milky blue variety of U294; 3rd CS U311; 4th U362.

4th row, 1st CS is U436e, 2nd a U534 (too tough to do die ID from this scan); 3rd is U436f; 4th U349, 5th a U544 of some type.

5th row, 1st CS is U536 of some type, 4th U525

6th row, 1st CS is U400, 2nd U481, 3rd U411c

I see Thomas beat me. I agree with his assesment. Determining paper color from a scan can be dicey. You have that nice paper sample system to use for paper colors Daryl. Just a suggestion, but fewer items per scan with higher resolution is helpful for some die varieties.

I went for orange on the top 3 stamps based upon the color sample I have of real paper types.
I couldn't come close enough to matching it with others.
