Anyone know what these are? They are mostly receipts but is adorned with postage due stamps and notations. I never have seen these off of a cover before so That's why I'm unsure of what these are. Any thoughts of what they may be? Thank you for taking a look (and putting up with me all year too.)
I suspect they were typically "tagged" to a specific mailing noting the overall amount of postage due required for that day's mail. Rather than having the postage due stamps affixed to each individual mail piece, they were applied to an invoice directed to the recipient for payment.
By the way, don't discount some of those postage due meters, as some varieties can be quite collectible.
