Am I the only one that has problems with the site timing out?

Happens when viewing topics sometimes but almost all the time when I go to post something. It's just sits there for 30 seconds or so and then times out.

Very frustrating if I don't remember to copy/paste whatever I typed and have to do it all over again.

BTW, this is the only site I frequent, and I go to a lot of different sites, that this happens with and it's very consistently timing out

How long since you've cleaned out your cache?

Read this, don't know what the outcome was:

Personally, I'd switch to Firefox, which I've had for 5 years with no problems and plenty of useful apps.

Yep. I must have at least 20 addons running in Firefox and it still completely blows away fresh virgin installs of IE and Chrome.

There have been no other reports Mike, so it appears the issue would be on your end.

Yes Mike, mine was ALWAYS timing out, I put up with it because I wanted
to remain with IE.
I have changed to Chrome, and it rarely happens now, but does on
some occaisions.
I do not like Chrome, it's a horrible platform,
Looks like Firefox is next on the list, I tried it once before
but cannot recall why I changed back to IE.

I prefer to stay with something I know, where
keystrokes are second nature.

I actually think it's a problem with the connection from my local Comcast feed to this server. Weird that it's the only site on the internet that I visit that this happens to though. But it happens enough with just this site to realize that something is wrong.

I'll run a trace at some point to see if I can narrow it down somewhat.

Don't be so quick to blame your ISP. I'm having the same issue from time to time recently, only on this site. Using both IE and Safari via Verizon FiOS.
