Hello to all ..
When I tried to portray this stamp by scanner and on a black background, appeared the picture in black, and when his image without black background, the back of its real color.
What is Scott number for this stamp.

I don't believe I have ever seen a black 1˘ denomination Washington before I don't think?

I am assuming that the first two images are deliberately done in black and white, since the same stamps are posted in green below the black and white images.

Just scan it with the lid open and scan as you normally do when it is closed. Don't change any settings to try and affect the background
