I was going through the stamps I picked up this past sumer and came accross this stamp in a small stock book with the words Rare Cancel "Cross within Cross"
I looked in my 2013 Scott Cat and lists no such cancellation type.

I know its torn at the bottom and is worthless but is this a rare cancellation?

It looks vaguely like the Hiago, Japan cancellation. Other than that, I have no other suggestion.

Very interesting but I'm afraid I can't offer much help. Does that stamp have a grill by chance? Looks a little like there could be from your scan but could just be an anomaly from scanning?
