The cover is a TRANS- PACIFIC AIR MAIL CLIPPER FIRST FLIGHT 118
Inaugural Service: MANILA-MACAO
Subsidiary: Extension of Hong Kong Clipper
Date: 04/28/1937

This First Flight of the "Hong Kong Clipper" carried 12,238 letters from Manila to Macao bearing a special First Flight Cachet Type 51 (see the double circle chop at the nose of the illustration LL corner of the cover). Covers are postmarked Manila, Apr. 28, 1937, 3 A.M> and are backstamped Macao 28-IV-37.17 Postage P O 0.52.
