We knew it was coming, but recently posted on the USPS Store website is confirmation that Press Sheet collectors can look forward to definitives of the 33-cent postcard rate stamp and even the second ounce 66-cent stamps to be offered in Press Sheet formats, both with and without die cuts.
For the 33-cent Apples stamp (in 2x5) format means an outlay of $66 for each of the two press sheets; for the 66-cent Wedding Cake stamp (in 2x5) format means an outlay of $132 for each of the two press sheets.
Although not yet posted on the USPS Store website, I understand we can also look forward to press sheets for the 66-cent Butterfly Stamp, too.
When will it ever end? Probably never...at least not until collectors either go broke because of buying them, or they stop collecting them altogether.
