I just purchased this 113 to add to my specialized collection of 1869 pictorials. I love these stamps like no other, and jump at the chance to own freaks. This one was a mere $12.80.

Your stamp, by the way, illustrates a GRILL "perfectly" for anyone who can't quite grasp the concept.

I like it. It seems to have a very strong grill as Doug pointed out.

I rarely see jumbo top AND bottom margins on this series. I do, however, frequently see jumbo right and left margins. The latter is usually the result of a sheet margin on one side. Too bad this stamp isn't well centered. It would command a premium. Then again, I'm pretty happy with the one I keep in my hingeless album :)

I just realized that both of these stamps have the printer's alignment dots. Now I want to check my other stamps for dots ...

The top stamp has a very thin line on the bottom as well. Would that be another printers mark, or LOM ( Layout Marking )?
