Kind of hard to offer congrats. When you were killed a year before the award. JFK killed 1963 while MLK recieved the award in 1964.

That's right, 1775mac. JFK assassinated November 22, 1963. MLK
received the prize in December of 1964, more than a year later.

It's the thought that counts, I guess!

Was the photo retouched or is it an orginal genuine picture ?
I understand it couldnt have been a congrats on the Nobel handshake but what I mean is the picture of anothe instance the two met ?

The sheet does say "In Memoriam" so I guess that could be one way to get around the impossibility of JFK presenting the award to MLK Jr.
