Ebay Find- Now My Highest Scott Cv Stamp

This is a faulty copy-- bad perfs and a little thin on the bottom right, but it's a Type IV, #34, Scott CV $2500 used, and scarce. What qualifies it as a Type IV, is the recut line at the top. Only 8 positions on Plate 1 were recut, and this is 86L1, or the 86th stamp on the left side of Plate 1.



Spent $103 on ebay, bid somewhat higher than that- even though faulty, I'd still consider this a nice buy, due to the scarcity of this little jewel. Thought I'd share-- Ray

Faulty or not, this is a tough stamp to get in any condition and this one displays nicely. Grats!

I've seen copies in worse shape than that for $700.00. I'd say it's a steal at your price.

Thanks Ray, now I feel worse. If I had only gone up to 151.00 this would have been mine... sigh..
