Hi all

I just joined and have a puzzle for you all. I found this two in a box and know nothing about them except one is colombian stamp. much appreciate if someone help me to know the year, value and other info please.

Welcome randeni! I believe a larger image would be most beneficial as I cannot make out the design.

Hi Randemi. Your first "stamp" is actually a cinderella, issued in Germany in mourning for the WWI lost territories. Hence the black frame. It was very common on 1920's and 1930' to issued mourning stamps with a black frame when important people died. Your cinderella is devoted to the "lost" region of Alsace (in German, "Elsass" or "ElsaB") that they took from France in 1870, lost in 1918, re-annexed in 1940-45. Now, it belongs to France.

As for the Colombian stamp the picture is to small to identify it. I'm sorry.

Thanks for sharing your knoledge with me as well others intersted in the subject and I am looking for solutions to post better fotos in future. since I am a new collector I do need lot of healp to understand my collection.

by the way do you know the value of cinderella ?

There's no need of thanks, that's what we're here for. I'm sorry I don't know much about German cinderellas and I can't give an idea of the Elsass one, value. Perhaps one of our colleagues is better informed. Anyway, cinderellas' value is a very subjective question.
