Just came into this nice looking (although cut down) Franklin and would like some assistance identifying and plating this issue. I would not assume there is much value since it looks to be cut at top but would appreciate any comments.

Shannon, to plate, it would need to be scanned at 1200 minimum. You would have to host the image, or have a site like Photobucket host the image, then copy a link into an SCF message.

Thanks Ray, I will work on it. Am I correct in assuming this a a SC#7 or is that part of the plating process?

Yes, it is a Type II (Scott #7). To make an attempt on plating it, like Ray mentioned, a larger more detailed scan is needed
