Chasa, sorry did not complete. The plate number 7942 (the one that I have) is the Sc 467 from my research. Do you have different details?

Plate #7942 is for Scott #467, #499 and #505, according to Durland, the accepted authority.

Durland says: "The 2c stamp plate 7942 is not scarce but it is the sheet on which the 5c errors are found. The errors are located at stamps 74 and 84 of the upper left pane and stamp 18 in the lower right pane of plate 7942. The errors, therefore, do not appear in any of the plate blocks. See #467 and #499." SAME COMMENT for #467 and #499.

the perforations appear to be perf 11
all the errors came from plate #7942 - so this plate was also used for SC 485

There is the perf 10, the perf 11 and the imperf versions of this error. THe imperf is very scarce and has a substantial value--not that the other two are not worth a goodly sum. It has always been my impression that a full sheet would be very uncommon. Am I right or wrong on this?

Anyway, I would think once, twice and then again about exposing the sheet to light, even with UV glass.

Oh, let me add that I have not stopped drooling and babbling like a baby when looking at that sheet.
