OK. I know nothing about these covers. I have about 100 of these. My bottom-line question is: Do they worth anything that I can put them on ebay?

Most RPO covers after about 1900 are of no significant value. Clean covers with clear cancel strikes normally sell in the $1-$2 range.

Hahahahaha....... OK and thanks. No wonder I have so many in the box, together with ship covers, HPO covers, rocket covers and space covers. So, other members no need to answer this embarrassing question.

Not an embarrassing question at all!

The RPO, HPO, rocket and space covers may not be worth a great deal individually, but that doesn't mean they are not collectible. There are many collectors who strive to acquire any number of these special covers and/or postmarks. Even though many may be of low value, there are some elusive ones out there that some collectors strive to acquire.

Based on the photo you scanned, it looks like you have quite a collection. I, for one, would be interested in seeing some of your scans up close so we can identify some of the various postmarks. It is certainly an interesting collection of postal history.

There are some rocket mail covers from the 30's that command an good price. Also some short rum RPO's are less common and carry a nice premium. Many 1840's to 1870's RPOs a;so carry a nice premium.

You should also try and check those one cents green stamps for rotary waste and rare. Who knows you may have a boom in one or those covers.
