Here is my latest Loewenberg essay. This is a decalcomania from Loewenberg's first process. It was printed by the National Bank Note Co. in 1864. In late 1865 National printed Loewenberg essays of his second decalcomania process which are quite plentiful.

Is there a noticeable difference between the 1st process and the 2nd process ?
