CHASA: 2 points (one point and one question);
1. Arvin, CA does not have a 477 pattern. MY cat shows a different item in the -A- listing.
2. Where did you find values of these things at $1000? My latest PSS catalog says "over $200). Just curious.

Arvin 477 was added in the latest published T&T catalog - 7th edition, January 2007. New items are discovered and added after rigorous vetting. The 7th edition also repriced all the less-than-A values in dollar amounts up to 200$. A-items are rarely sold so they are 'estimated' at 300$ in the T&T computer program. AA-items are 'estimated' at 1000$ - I suspect those from popular states would sell for even more.
Sounds like you have an older T&T catalog.

btw: the Arvin 602 listed in the previous catalog is now considered a FAKE. It is just a coincidence that the 477 was added when the 602 was deleted. They do not look anything alike.

Chasa: Thanks for the correction. I will have to order the "new" catalog. Gotta keep up to date!

Can you enlighten me to the No and Yes at the end of each. What do they mean.

Newby: when the T&T catalog program spits out a report - it writes out 6 columns -
the 4th and 5th are: Discontinued PO [yes/no] and IN YOUR COLLECTION [yes/no]

I actually have 4 of them after 30 years of collecting/searching-
the Red Hook NY
and Falmouth MA [I found the first, a second has been discovered, so it will be downgraded from AA to A]
and Ontario IA [I found the first and only]
and Woodbury CT [I recently found the second copy so it will be downgraded from AA to A.]

The 6th column is footnotes and comments
