Hi all from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I've been collecting stamps for approximately 40 years (started when I was in the first grade).

I collect worldwide, but specialize in Canada, U.S., G.B., Ireland, Australia, and U.S. and Canadian Precancels.

I'm also into coins and banknotes and collect other things as well.

I usually buy at auction sites online these days, as well as from the Post Offices of the countries I collect, and from one dealer here in the city.

One thing I love to buy is old collections -- it's interesting to see how someone else organized their album.

I've been lurking for awhile checking out the community, and look forward to posting when I can.

Welcome Wp..another lurker come in from the cold..i also like to acquire old collections if I can find them..not the powerful collections on ebay..they tend to be repetitive..and shipping costs make them less of a bargain !!

Welcome Wpg to the SCF and a big "G'dday, eh?" from the Nation's Capital!

I notice you collect Cdn precancels. I collect the Empire of the King George VI reign, and I made my own pages for the Cdn precancels of the reign.

I also collect U.S. airmail, specialise in the U.S. Americana definitive series, and the commems 1976-1995.

Look forward to seeing you more often on the SCF.

Cheers,

We can't wait to see & hear more about your collections. I have various collections as well: US stamps, select US town precancels, Abe Lincoln worldwide, and route 66. That's just stamps, I also dabble in coins & currency, World Fair admission tickets, postcards, & hard rock cafe pins. I have seen you posting to some of the same topics I have. Welcome!

Hi WpgLwr.

Welcome to the SCF. Great to have you here.

Good to see a fellow collector of Aus stamps and coins.
If you need a hand with anything from downunder, just holla.

Steve
