Hey all. My name's Zack and I'm a new collector from North Carolina. I'm 16 and have bought a few FDC's in the past(Around 6), but today is the first day I actually purchased stamps. I'm not sure what I have, but I got around 60 for $3 so I just had to take them. I look forward to learning as much as possible and hope to end up with a very nice collection soon. I also collect coins, Baseball Cards, and sports memorabilia. If you have ANY tips for a newbie, PLEASE share! I need all the help I can get. Also, I will post pictures of my FDC's and the stamps I purchased today later tonight in the correct forums.
Lastly, can anyone recommend something cheap but reliable for storing stamps and FDCs? I put the ones I got today in an old photo album because I have nothing else except cardboard coin holders and the FDCs just lay around with no protection.
Thanks!

-Zack.

Zack! Get that stuff out of the photo albums because they will ruin your stuff. An old shoebox would be much better. -Jeff

Welcome, Put your FDC's in a shoe box for now and keep them in a cool dry place, until you get a proper album.
