Hello All,
I am new to the world of Stamps. The Duck Hunting series has caught my eye. I am curious if there is a data base of Artist signatures on these. From what I've read there are multiple versions(And ways they are cancelled)
I have one that was never affixed to anything, signed on the front, but am unsure if it was a hunter who signed, or the stamp's specific artist

If there is a signature on the front most likely it's the person who purchased the license. A scan would help out.

Yes a Duck Stamp must be signed on the face to be valid by the hunter,a yearly purchase. Big competition among artists to have their work chosen(as seen in the movie Fargo)I have my uncles stamps from the 50's
