I have a 2 1/2 year old grandson who visits often--he showed me his new hideaway for objects that suddenly disappear--the heating vent -he pulls the metal vent off and drops stuff down there! Yikes! I pulled a few matchbox cars and a McDonald's toy out of there. My favorite tool is my tongs and the most prized thing for me these days is finding the time to sit down with my stamps! Gussyboy1 |

Gussy, I am glad we do not have any floor vents. My son would try to put something in them. He has already put grapes, little people, & cars in our surround sound subwoofer! I also wish I had more time for my stamps, Charlie keeps my wife & I hopping. |

Hi,
I'd have to say my favorite tool is a magnifier. I sure enjoy being able to see the small details, secret marks, and microprinting on the stamps. I guess my perf gauge may be more useful though.

Good one Bob Only you would come up with that one. I still have to say my knowledgeable friends on this forum and my catalogues. But a good tongue is invaluable also. I have to start Hinging my Aussie stamps today and thanks to trigg and the gang I have thosands. Dianne |

My eyes, For without my eyes, I would be without a stamp, And Without a stamp, I am nothing.
So my eyes it is, And I say thanks for my eyes, That I can see the beauty, Of my stamps, And they are beautiful.
After my eyes I have to say, My computer, For without my Computer, I would not know you all, My Stamp Buddies.
And if I did not know you all, I would be nothing, Save for an ordinary collector, Of paper pieces, With and without Perforations.
So I say thanks for my eyes, Thanks for my Computer, And thanks to Mr Hill, For my stamps, And thanks for my Philatelic tools.
