Howdy stamp peeps.
Just got a letter of invitation today from our postmaster regarding consent for participation in a district level stamp exhibition cum competition. This is the first time something of this sort is organized in my district and also my first opportunity to compete in such level. It got a permasmile in my face all day long and at the same time I'm really nervous. I'll go to post office with other young collectors of our stamp club to see if they too can get enrolled.
Don't know what to expect but I got a week to finalize the theme.
Any ideas for off beat themes?

My stepson is going to do an exhibit at the local stamp club's show next spring on the different shade varieties available on certain stamps; I know for sure that stamps from India can easily be found in different shades of the same main color, especially on the "Ashoka Pillar" and the "Map of India" series'. That could be a possible theme.
