There's a light crease, a few thins, some color missing in the "25", some funky perfs, but it's still a great looking stamp. Nice centering, sharp color, neat MS cancel and at just under 15% of scott value I think I got a good deal.
These 2nd issue stamps sure are packed with detail!

The perfs are alright on this stamp, they never come perfect anyway. The paper was terrible; thick, soft and lumpy, and the perforating machines were adequate but nothing more.

Yes, I'm learning that with these issues, but I was pointing out the perfs at top which seem to be discolored. Maybe stained from ink?

More likely that they are toned, the ink and paper were created to be susceptable to various chemicals, plus age can tone paper as well.
