I have a watch on this stamp and wonder if anyone else can spot anything glaring about it. I know it's defective- the perfs are bad for one thing but I know also that there are people on this board with good eyes for this sort of thing. I think I can see perhaps a sealed tear about two thirds down on the left- anything else?

Actually what you see as a sealed tear on the left hand side is what the seller describes as a scrape. He misspelled the word as "scrap". The centering isn't great, but the color appears bright. The design and face are relatively clean and attractive. It all depends on just how perfect a stamp will satisfy you.

Looks like it was creased through that tear and appears thinned where 1888 is written on the back.

Before you hit the button on this copy, check these completed listings - it seems like you can get a decent looking copy for around 30 bucks if you are patient. Search completed listings for these examples: 380645624357 - 390596614979 - 321104548834.
