Oh that word maintenance..the guy across the street has a boat..he has to maintain it, he has a ford mustang convertible..he has to maintain it..i have a stamp collection...and it requires maintenance. I can only yank a Scott International binder off the shelf so many times before it starts to break down...pages come loose that have to have gum reinforcements applied..which means taking the whole album apart..and those clear crystal mounts fall loose from the page when the gum dries...replaced with good mounts..i guess its normal..anything worthwhile has to be kept up !

Darn Rick maybe that is where I have been going wrong.

I agree but I don't have to change the oil as much with stamps as I have to with the truck.

Are you driving my truck? Mine has just over 96,000 miles it is a 2001.

I do find I have to change the envelops every few years too. I'm pretty lucky with binders and albums. So far other than those darn crystal mounts I have been lucky.

Mkfarm my truck is a 96 Tacoma 4x4...i paid 13,000 for it in 1999 with 34,500 miles on it...it has exceeded my expectations..i never worry when I turn the key...a little rust around the truck bed..but otherwise it looks like new..its always outside and I wash it twice a year or so....i guess you would call her low maintenance !!
