I imagine that's because you already have every stamp and cover in your 1M$ collection.
Thanks for the "no pictures" offer. Now I won't have to put my eyes out! |

Ironically, my brother-in-law and I were talking about winning the lottery tonight at the supper table. He said he would spend his to help Southern Florida become it's own state! I ,of course, seriously said that I would FEED THE HUNGRY in the world--he became dead silent and said, "Of course you would." You could have heard a pin drop at the supper table. I guess sometimes I'm way too serious, but hanging out here with bobgggg and you other characters keeps me smiling--and you know who you are! Gussyboy1 |

On the serious side of what would I buy with the $--I'd like a whole collection of those Latvia stamps printed on maps, every stamp produced by Hungary, and every RED CROSS stamp ever made. (I know you said single item, but this is a hint to my very SPECIAL SECRET SANTA! snicker) Gussyboy1 |

First of all, I would buy a house big enough for me to have a real nice stamp room. And I would really like to have a U.S.#1 #2. On second thought I think I would like to have the Zeps first (C13-C15). after that would like to complete my 1892 Columbian set. (this pic thing is a lost cause for me sorry folks.) |

I hit six whole bucks Wednesday, so I invested the cash in more tickets. That makes me a sure thing for tomorrow. You guys and gals should watch the paper for my name. |
