Cunard " QUEEN ELIZABETH " ( 1938) special cover for her last voyage/sailing from Southampton to New York.
The special postmark : PAQUEBOT- LAST SAILING 15 NOV 68 - SOUTHAMTON

Launched on 27th September , 1938 and taken out of service in November, 1968.

Queen Elizabeth was the largest ship in the world at that time. Although larger oil tankers began entering service in the 1960s, Queen Elizabeth held the title of the world's largest passenger ship until the 101,353-ton cruise ship Carnival Destiny entered service in 1996.

Ship's details , history and her tragic fate here :

Nice cover March and welcome to the forum

Paquebot covers and ship covers / postcards are one of my collecting specialties. Always nice to see covers of this nature.
