Yes, the Chicago Canal Station postmark was quite common for the day. If you search
ebay you'll find several similar examples available at modest prices.
In fact, there was an earlier (scarcer?) Canal Station Postmark that looked like this (kind of interesting that they used a wavy line in the killer part of the postmark):
They are certainly collectible.
