I have a number of vintage postcards from my "inheritance" of a huge box of family photos! They're truly interesting.
This one, unused, is the prettiest and probably cost more, initially, than any of the others I've seen. (Just 'cuz it seems fancy.)
Any postcard experts out there who'll tell me more about this one?

Well, my apologies! I just realized that I'm in a US Postcard discussion and this is not a US postcard!

Nice card roxturpin.

You also will have to take into consideration condition as well. As far as fancy postcards are concerned, they can be valuable but, that is not an automatic given rule. Postcards with scuffing marks can greatly decrease a value for any given card.

There are numerous postcard sites that may give you an idea of their value? One way, just as a guide to see how others are selling is to check on the different online auctions, just to give you an idea.

Hope this helps?

Thanks Chimo. All of my postcards were at the bottom of an old trunk when I found them, so they're not in great condition. But still, a great peak into family history! I just love the ones with real photos! And the humorous ones from the 40's!

Agreed roxturpin

Those old postcards, especially the RP (Real Photo)ones can be addictive. Who knows, maybe you might develop a strong interest in them and build a collection?

This card in faded, soiled, and creased condition, maybe 75c on a good day. The "in Bavaria" suggests a printing between 1908 and 1914, when the war halted the production and export of German cards.

A lot of the postcards were published in Bavaria, Silesia, Germany and France within continental Europe.

So many cards were produced, and, it is difficult to tabulate what exactly is out there. To say the least, it is fun trying to collect them.

This will help identify and date your card to as early as December 21, 1912. Sold in Great Britain. Chromographed in Bavaria. Known as a Tuck's Post Card No. C5637 with an estimated value of $4 (according to this database):
