What you think about this kind of collection? It looks pretty nice, and surely worths something... at least, someone gave a great efforts to collect, cut and compile all this postmarks...
I think that this kind of scrapbook can be invaluable only to the writer of the Postal History catalogue... it is sad that all those covers has been scissored... but, the late compilator surely thought that he had done the right job...
Commercial value is just the stamps themselves, but the added information from the cutouts is interesting. I would like to scold the person who destroyed so many valuable covers by cutting these out - they ruined the collector value that would have been present had the covers remained intact.
Sometimes only postmark's cut-squares worth very much... for example, I just noticed this from Tasmania, even not so old (from 1963), possibly made on demand... recently sold for $94 People know what they want...
