As of this hour the USPS Store has returned both the Eid and Made in America Stamps to "buy" status.
The Made in America Press Sheet (without die cuts) has been removed, as that item is sold out. The Press Sheet (with die cuts) is still available (for now). |

And now the Eid uncut press sheet (only 500 and without die cuts were issued) appears to be sold out. |

This all leads into the question as to whether or not it is proper that the USPS open up pre-orders for such limited edition items only to get them sold out before the stamp(s) even get issued.
I guess the USPS doesn't care as long as they make their sales quota. |

Peculiar that they are hidden from the Press Sheet page. Probably very low quantities left. |

Are the Made in America Press Sheet (without die cuts) still available? I'm having trouble accesing the link above.
Edit: I was finally able to access the link. It appears to be still available. Curious in the fact that the Stamp Fulfillment Center told me they were sold out. |

Quote: Curious in the fact that the Stamp Fulfillment Center told me they were sold out. Could be some order cancellations involved. No matter, it is obvious that they are selling out quickly. It's now 5:45 PM on Thursday, August 8, 2013. I attempted to purchase the No Die Cut Press Sheet from the link provided earlier and could not set up my account (it said I already had an account, but I have only ordered by phone; never on-line). Anyway, I called the 800# and ordered the item that way. It is indeed still in stock and they report it will be shipped to me within 7-10 days. |

Yeah, I know -- that's what it says on the on-line ordering page, too (1 business day). Maybe the idea is that it takes a bit longer to process a phone order.
No matter, really. At least I got my order in. |

Here's a rather interesting extra -- the latest news release on the Made in America Stamps now shows that two different styles of T-Shirts are available for this ... but no link to the ordering page: http://about.usps.com/news/national...pr13_062.htmNot that I have any interest in the T-Shirts, but it is interesting that they were not previously part of the Postal Bulletin announcement of philatelic products available for this issue. |

I don't understand why USPS would not offer the full set of full pane first day cancels. As it now stands, one can only buy a random full pane cancel. |

I received not 1, 2, or 3, but 4 emails from the USPS today notifying me that my no-die cut Made in America Press Sheet, ordered after it disappeared from the Press Sheet page, had shipped! |
