Looks like the press sheets (without die cuts) are now sold out. At least it seems to be not available on the web site. The way the USPS has been operating no one can know for sure. |

Quote: Looks like the press sheets (without die cuts) are now sold out. I think you're right. At least the link provided previously is no longer valid for the "no die cut" variety. Now if only the Press Sheet I ordered several days ago arrives undamaged ... it seems that's the challenge these days! |

Quote: Sounds like some dealer swooped in? I don't think you would need a dealer. With only 2500 press sheets, collectors ordering the limit of 5...they could sell out in as fast as 500 individual orders. |

since all panes have a different background, how many collectors are keeping the press sheets intact? if you managed to get a made in america imperf press sheet please respond with the quantities and whether you intend to break them into panes. |

I bought one Imperf Press Sheet for my personal collection. I plan to keep in intact, however, storage is always a problem, so right now it's simply stored rolled up in a box. |

I just read this in the latest Linn's Stamp News.
Quote from Henry Gitner in his Stamp Market Tips column: "What makes this issue so special is that it was produced with five very different borders. While there are 12,500 imperforate panes of 12 stamps, there are only 2,500 sets of five different imperforate panes. They are now among the scarcest regularly issued U.S. stamp issues of the 20th and 21st centuries."
Congratulations to those of you who were able to get one! And from reading comments from others here, hopefully it wasn't damaged!

I bought one Press Sheet (the only issue I ever bought in Press Sheet format) and I intend to keep it intact. |

Are the uncut sheets worth keeping still, or should I just sell it off now? |
