I use some of the imperfs as postage. For example, I bought some Gingerbread Houses imperf press sheets last year. I split it up into block of 4 stamps, take off the block from one side as postage use and sell the block on the backer online. |

I posted this Linn's article in another thread, but it probably should be posted here, too. It seems a 2014 dated Flag for all Seasons (FFAS) Booklet of 20 will be issued, as printed by Sennett Security Products (likely without ceremony) for use in grocery stores and other retail, non-postal locations. http://linns.com/news/us-stamps/279...riety-likelyThe article suggests that the reason for the variety is that printed materials depicting the FFAS stamps were already in place before the Star Spangled Banner stamp had been issued and I guess the USPS found it more cost effective to merely reprint the FFAS stamps than to change all of the printed materials to feature the more recent Star Spangled Banner stamp. |

Thank wt1, I missed that update. Don't understand the need to reprint these Flag issues with all the just issues Star Spangled Banners but more than likely it will happen and add to what we have purchase this year to keep up todate. |

Here are specs: http://about.usps.com/postal-bullet...info_007.htm |

688400 refers to a generic FAS booklet. While I haven't tried it, I understand the order number for the new 2014 SSP booklet is 688445. |

If not a coincidence, it doesn't appear that I can get priority mail singles anymore via the USPS online store. Only whats left of last year gives the single option. |
