Riderontherain, I am Dutch and as such I mail quite a few letters to the Netherlands. I also have one or two domestic covers with the stamp ( the original, first round one ) on it. The cover I have was used to mail a magazine to which I subscribe. If you are interested please send me an E-mail!

I was looking out of curiosity, and I see the singles of the priority stamps are back on the USPS site.
I like those new flag stamps too, although art work reminds me of something from the '70s...

A perfect example of the design being a throwback to the 1970s: Remember this ... looks remarkably similar to the upcoming stamps, doesn't it?

Many thanks for the offer, Peter. I managed to get hold of a cover yesterday with both global stamps (with the Arizona stamp to boot) by asking a friend to send me a package.

I like the Vintage Circus Posters very much. I just wish it was 16 unique designs and not two each of 8 designs. But this will be going in my collection for sure.

Here's the latest USPS update (from the Postal Bulletin) on the 2014 US Stamp Schedule of New Issues:

http://about.usps.com/postal-bullet...info_011.htm

I'm rather disappointed by the indication that the upcoming Hot Rods CB20 is only going to consist of just two designs. It would seem to be a popular enough subject that they should have added more designs to it.

Here's the design of the upcoming Nevada Statehood Stamp slated for issue on May 29, 2014 in Las Vegas:

Further information on the stamp--including pre-order stock numbers--is available at this link (although the links to pre-ordering the stamps don't yet work):

The Harvey Milk Stamp has now been "unveiled" by the USPS (even though the image was posted by Linn's Stamp News sometime ago.)

Anyway, you can pre-order the stamps now (for delivery after the May 22nd FDOI) and if the order information noted at the bottom of this link is accurate, there will be 12 panes to a Press Sheet at $117.60.

Red, White and Blue are coils ... no die cut sheets on that one.

Linn's Stamp News is reporting on the new Hot Rods stamps at the link below:

http://linns.com/news/breaking-stam...cense-plates

It appears there will only be two designs, definitive sized, in a CB20 format, depicting different angles of a 1932 Ford "Deuce" Roadster.

First Day of Issue will be on June 6, 2014 at the "Street Rod Nationals East Plus," at the York Expo Center in York, PA.

The article also refers to the fact that these stamps are featured in the latest USA Philatelic (2nd Quarter, 2014) ... Has anyone seen their copy of USA Philatelic for 2nd Quarter, 2014 yet?

Oh, I LOVE those circus stamps!

The Hot Rods, pretty OK. I am not into hot rods, BUT any stamp with a car is one I must have! I just wish they'd stop printing so many new issues as "booklets"...

Agreed. But the USPS is not trying to please stamp collectors; the stamp buying public wants booklets because they are easier to store in a pocket, purse, desk drawer, or whatever.
