Global ocean temperatures. I like it. I have always liked the Global Forever series.

@Jenny2013 All the Global Forever stamps have been round. I think the original Global Forever was the first round US stamp. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Not quite. The first US round stamp dates back to the year 2000 when Scott No. 3412 was issued:

For anyone interested in updated news about new US Issues, I strongly suggest you download a copy of the 1/23/2014 Postal Bulletin published today at this link. Many details about upcoming issues are included, almost too numerous to mention them all in this thread:

The Songbirds have just been shown to the public by USPS:

And here is the link to the announcement:

These will be issued in booklets of 20 (similar to the Vintage Seed Packets last year).

I do like these stamps.

Nice and colorful stamps, although the Songbirds aren't scheduled to be issued until sometime in April.

By making many calls, all over I discovered the USPS Item number for strip of 25 PNC Fern coil stamps is 790803. I ordered 4 rolls
(25 ea) this morning from USPS Stamp Fulfilment Service this morning so I know it is correct. The CPN is on every 30th stamp so I am not sure how the work out 25 but they claim a CPN will be on each roll.

Upon examination, appears that USPS ripped itself off by using nearly identical images from its 1981 State Flowers and State Birds issue (1953a). The Western Meadowlark and the Mountain Bluebird issues are nearly identical to its 33 year old cousins. What goes around ...

Whenever a new stamp is issued, I search YouTube to find something revelant to the stamp and tie them together at our stamp club Facebook page. I find it makes collecting more enjoyable with the added knowledge. https://www.facebook.com/crescentcitystampclub

My local PO is usually quite helpful and usually has current issues in stock. I just came from there an hour ago and they had no Star Spangled Banner, no Ferns, no Paper Heart, no Lunar New Year of the Horse. If you want 49¢/forever your choice was Flag for all Seasons.
