Okay I have a book of the equality 4 flags that has a perf thru the flags on one side... now what do I do. Are they worth anything?

First, I'd save it as a collectible.

"Are they worth anything?" Perhaps, but any premium value is probably minimal. They are considered an EFO (errors, freaks, oddities) and you will find that there are many different types that have come onto the secondary market, some with color shifts, or colors missing in the stamp itself and others with or without perforations or, as in your example, the perforations shifted into the design of the stamp. Surprisingly they generally don't go for too much of a premium value, as the market for such items is limited, unless of course, an EFO collector has desire for a specific item.

If you could post an image of what you have, I'm sure some SCF members would be interested to see your example.

it really depends on how big the shift is - just barely into the edge of the design, or in the middle or near the far edge.
