Hi all
I am newbie to stamp collection, I have some stamps got from my grandpa that I would like to sell...
My question is how to appraise the value of the stamps I would like to sell?
Is there a book/website? Should I just look at the market price at ebay?
Here is an example of stamps I would like to sell:
Thanks for your help!

The first one on the left looks like a perf 12 to me, so it could be a #332 (.35˘ used) or a #375 (.25˘ used)

The one on the right I cant really tell unless I know if it was printed on a Flat plate press or rotary press? If I had to guess though, I would say it might be a #554. (.20˘ used)

I'm sure someone will chime in and help.

Thank you! theswedishtiger is a great web site!
Thanks I_Love_Stamps for the information.

One more question - when the theswedishtiger website sais: "Cancelled stamps are worth less than $1"
Cancelled stamps are stamps like the one I posted - with the post office stamp on them (black Rubber Stamp marking)
