Rather than spending $25 up to $400 or more just for the certification costs, in addition to extraordinary shipping and handling fees charged by other certification organizations, waiting a minimum of two months for your stamp to be returned, and complex submission procedures, we can promise a maximum 7 day turnaround with no additional fees unless you require they be added (at cost; see our shipping policy for details). You will receive our expert evaluation of your stamp, cover or other U.S. philatelic material along with a uniquely numbered Certificate of Authenticity showing the item you have submitted along with our expert evaluation. Allow us to give you confidence in the items you purchase or need assistance in identifying.

We fully trust and respect the established Certification and Authentication services currently available to collectors and investors. However, we could not afford to spend outrageous amounts in postage, handling, certification costs, plus the 2-4 months it took to get the item back and the inability to follow up on the status of a submission. Confident in our abilities to perform the same services as other organizations at a fraction of the cost and with much faster turnaround time, we decided to offer these services to other collectors that want the same assurance the items they have purchased are genuine in all regards. We will not provide a numeric grade or render an opinion on value, as that is merely an estimate based on current market and other criteria. We will ensure a Qualified Analysis and Authentication at a very reasonable cost.

Our Guarantee: If an item you submit to receives a documented, expert evaluation from an another established and qualified philatelic expertization, authentication or certification service on the identity of an item submitted to PBS Stamps that differs from our authentication, within six (6) months from the Authentication date on your certificate, we will provide a full refund for services and shipping pending the following: You must be the original submitter of the item; The item must not undergo any alteration, enhancement, damage, separations, etc. from the time of our original evaluation in; Proof of a different opinion rendered after the date of our authentication must be provided; and the right to have PBS Stamps re-evaluate (no charge) must be allowed.

Our guarantee covers the identity of an item (i.e., Scott Catalog #, description, fault, repair or alteration identification) as stated on the Certificate of Authenticity. If for any reason your item cannot be evaluated with 100% confidence, or within 7 days (excluding mailing holidays) we will immediately return your item exactly as received plus all costs refunded. We Do Not Guess or Delay!

Service and Shipping Information: The cost of the Authentication Service is per item submitted for evaluation that ships in standard size envelopes up to 11"x14". Unlike other expertizing services there is no additional charge for sheets, blocks, specialty items, varieties and catalog value (collections or sets do not qualify as a single item). Secure, return postage included in the cost of services. Privately insured, but we would require delivery confirmation, certified or registered delivery charges if you wish you have us insure your item. Specialized return shipping services (insurance, registered, certified delivery, other carriers) will be provided upon request at actual cost. Additional charges may apply for uncut sheets or other oversized items. Contact us first if you are unsure about your item. We request you securely package your item for shipment, as we cannot be responsible for damage in transit to incoming items.

Payment by Personal Check or Money Order preferred, to be included with the item(s) to be Authenticated, but we also accept Paypal of course.
