Hi All

I bought this meter yesterday at a stamp show in North Bay. It appears to be a Type D2 Hasler "F88 / F 99" However, the dater hub is a single ring. I am wondering if this is another type, or does the dater hub make any difference?

Thanks for you help.

The single ring town/date mark may be beyond the scope of the online catalog, or it's a variety the editors have never seen before, or it's irrelevant in the view of the editors (not likely, compared to the number of varieties they included in the print US meter catalog). Could be any of these or something different. There is no way to tell unless you ask the editors. If it was in my collection, I would record it as a variety of D2 with a single ring town/date mark.

Thanks for that Robert.

I think I'll use your suggestion. Will be adding it to my files under "Type D2"
