I recently joined SCF and have enjoyed reading many posts in many topics. It's good to know that there are many collectors out there.

I began collecting stamps in the late 50s and was active until I went to college. Over the years stamp collective took a back seat to family, career and other hobbies, but now that I'm retired, I've jumped back in with renewed interest.

I collect worldwide and specialize in U.S. and France. I'm enjoying SCF and already found answers to several questions I had from reading through the forum topics.

Best regards to my fellow collectors.

Welcome Larry K,

I'm glad you are looking around the site and exploring. Lots of good info here.

I mainly collect USA stamps, but also collect W/W Airmail stamps. I've recently been trying to add to my France Airmail pages through some trades.

Your story is quite common with young collectors putting the collection away for several, sometimes many years, then picking it back up again.

Enjoy your renewed interest!

Best Regards,

Dave N.

Welcome LarryK - I just started France and certain French colonies recently - the one I'm most interested in is St. Pierre and Miquelon. Best wishes for your participation in SCF and we all look forward to hearing more from you.
